Principal's Message
Dear Students and Families,
I hope you had a restful Thanksgiving Break. Thank you for all you do to make our school community a wonderful place to learn and grow.
With only a couple of weeks of school before first semester finals, it is important that students continue to work hard to finish the semester successfully. Final progress reports have been e-mailed via Parent Square or they can be viewed on our Aeries Parent Portal. Students and parents should use that information to assess progress in each class. Parents and guardians, please continue to help your son or daughter by reviewing their progress and checking their attendance to make sure they are attending EVERY class, EVERY day.
I encourage students to take advantage of after school tutoring, open Tuesday-Thursday, 3:30-4:30PM in the library, along with the many other tutoring opportunities that our teachers provide. We also have a ROAR (Saturday School) session on December 7th and 14th. Lastly, there will be a Cocoa Cram study session for 9th graders on Dec. 12th.
Finals will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, December 17th- 19th (these are minimum days). All students should begin preparing for finals now by reviewing the content they have learned. Students, it is critical that you know what to expect on your final exams, how these exams will affect your final grade in the course, and how best to study so that you can show what you know. Friday, Dec. 20th is a non-student day.
