Principal's Message

Dear Chaffey Families,

 

We’re so close! With Spring Break, Prom, and CAASPP now behind us, the school year is rapidly coming to an end. Final progress reports have been mailed home and we have just a couple of weeks before final exams. It is so important for students to continue working hard and finish the semester strong. Students should assess their progress in each class and communicate with teachers about how to maintain or improve their grades. Also, continue to monitor Canvas and communicate with counselors if you have any concerns.

 

Seniors, graduation is right around the corner, and we want to see all of you cross the stage at our commencement ceremony in Graber Stadium on Thursday, May 24th. Please check your email, Canvas, and Parent Square for more details and a complete list of senior activities.

 

Parents and guardians, please continue to help your students by reviewing their progress each day and by ensuring that homework is complete. Also, please help by making sure your student is attending every class, every day. 

 

Finals will be held on Tuesday- Thursday, May 21-23 (these are minimum days). All students should begin preparing for finals each night by reviewing the content they have learned. The complete final exam schedule can be found on our school’s website at chs.cjuhsd.net.

   

Summer School will be in session Monday, June 3 to Tuesday, July 2. Registration is now taking place. Contact your student’s counselor if you believe your student will need to attend.

 

Finally, I would like to thank our Chaffey High School community for your trust and support throughout this school year.  CHS is an amazing school, and I am proud of all that our students and staff have accomplished.
