Principal's Message

Christina Martinez
Tigers,

Welcome back and happy new year! I hope you had a safe and restful Winter Break and that you’re excited about second semester. 2023 was another year filled with change, challenge, and opportunity. As we head into 2024, let’s prepare ourselves to make the most of the possibilities that lie ahead.

If you haven’t already given some thought to your New Year’s resolutions, I encourage you to reflect and set some academic and personal goals. Remember: you are starting fresh. You have resources available to you and people at school who love and care for you. Together, we can take it to a whole new level. Keep in mind all the support that is within your reach:

●        After school tutoring
●        6th period Academy
●        ROAR on Saturday
●        Progress monitoring on Canvas
●        Your counselor
●        Your teachers
●        Your principal

I wish all our athletes and performers the best of luck with the current season of games and performances. Stay strong, focused, and continue to strive for excellence in all areas of your life.

Lastly, please be aware that school is not in session on the following dates:

Monday, January 15th  – MLK Jr. Day
Monday, February 12th – Lincoln’s Day
Monday, February 19th – Presidents’ Day

Tigers, I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish in 2024!
