Principal's Message

Mrs. Martinez
Tigers,

We are so close to the finish line…but we are not there yet. As we enter the 4th quarter, I want to encourage all students to finish strong. You have worked so hard in and out of the classroom and I am proud of what you have accomplished.

As we gear up for the final push to the end of the school year, we have important events coming up such as CAASPP/CAST, AP Exams, prom, and commencement.

We take pride in our school and the development of our students’ academic success. This is why our staff has been working hard to prepare students for the upcoming CAASPP and AP exams. These are just two of the indicators that are used by the state to measure the overall success of the school.

Juniors will take the CAASPP, Seniors will take the CAST (California Science Test), and many of our students in grades 9-12 will be taking AP Exams. Show us you’re ready, Tigers!

Testing Dates:

CAASPP for all 11th grade students
          April 10-20

CAST for all 12th grade students
April 10--13

AP Testing
          May 1-12

Our spring sports season is also underway.  CHS Baseball, Softball, Boys Volleyball, Golf, Swim, Boys Tennis, and Track & Field teams are ready for competition. In addition, our Fine and Performing Arts programs are preparing for our production of The Little Shop of Horrors and several spring concerts and performances by our talented student groups. Come out and support our Tiger athletes, performers, and scholars.

Students, I encourage you to continue to do your personal best. Strive to stay on track to meet the A-G requirements and other academic goals you set for yourself and make time to take care of your mental and emotional health. The Chaffey High School staff are here for you. Let us know how we can help.

Go, Tigers!
